Apr 24, 2026 | News

Centurion Property Group has completed the recapitalization of a four-property, purpose-built student housing portfolio totaling 2,028 beds across high-demand university markets in the United States.

The transaction was brokered by Ryan Lang, Ben Harkrider, and Jack Brett of Newmark, in cooperation with locally licensed Newmark advisors. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

This recapitalization represents a significant milestone for Centurion, demonstrating the firm’s ability to execute across the full lifecycle of its investment strategy—from acquisition and operational optimization to value realization. The transaction also reflects the continued growth and institutionalization of the platform, as well as the increasing interest in student housing from large-scale capital partners.

“Completing this portfolio recapitalization is an important step in the evolution of our platform,” said Aldo Facchi Jr., Managing Partner of Centurion Property Group. “We are proud of the execution across these assets and remain focused on continuing to scale our presence in the student housing sector through disciplined investment and operations.”

Following the transaction, Centurion will continue to focus on expanding its portfolio through the acquisition and management of high-quality student housing communities located near large public universities. The firm remains committed to driving long-term value through operational improvements, targeted capital investments, and active asset management.

This transaction further reinforces the long-term attractiveness of the student housing sector, supported by durable demand fundamentals and the continued strength of major university markets across the United States.
