September 12, 2025 – Miami, FL — Centurion Property Group is proud to announce the acquisition of U Club Sunnyside, a 534-bed student housing community located in Morgantown, West Virginia, serving students at West Virginia University (WVU). The property, originally built in 2016, will be rebranded as The View at Morgantown under Centurion’s ownership.
The community offers a mix of modern two- and four-bedroom units, complemented by an array of amenities including a resort-style pool, hot tub, fitness center, community kitchen with BBQ grills, and dedicated study spaces. These features make it a premier option for WVU students seeking high-quality housing within walking distance of campus.
Positioned for Growth and Value Creation
The acquisition of U Club Sunnyside represents Centurion’s ninth property since launching in 2020, expanding the firm’s portfolio to approximately $360 million AUM. At the time of acquisition, the property was 91% occupied, with Centurion immediately initiating efforts to optimize operations and prepare for the 2026–2027 pre-leasing cycle. The goal is to achieve occupancy levels of 92.5% or higher, supported by a focused marketing and leasing strategy.
Business Plan and Renovations
Centurion’s operations team, through its in-house management company Centuride, began the transition process even before closing. The business plan includes:
